Frequently Asked Questions:

What programs are cancelled this summer?

All 9 weeks of overnight Camp 2020 have been cancelled.

Is there a possibility that some activities will take place at Dunkleys, if circumstances permit?

Depending on CDC, State and ACA recommendations, alternative programming may happen: ie.: Day Camp or Family Camp.

Why was camp cancelled?

Over the last 3 months we worked through the ACA, VCA, CDC and VT Dept of Health guidelines to try to run camp in a safe way. In the end, there was no way to successfully monitor families’ adherence to guidelines coming into camp, and the guidelines themselves produced anxiety in our campers.

What should I do now?

Campers can stay in touch with camp each week through a new virtual posting of games, arts and Crafts, yoga, cooking classes, gymnastic drills/skills and fun with counselors online. If you have interest in a zoom session with kids in your Session, let us know. Parents will receive a mailing with options regarding payments already made, with options of refunds of tuition and forwarding of tuition to 2021.

How are you handling tuition, refunds and deposits?

Parents will receive a mailing detailing information about options for payments already made, including refunds of tuition and forwarding non refundable deposits to 2021.

Will there be Camp 2021, and when can I register for Camp for next summer?

Hurrah! Yes!! Dunkleys 49th summer promises to be the best one yet! Registration for Camp will begin early this year, with registrations starting September 1st.
